This is the most genius puzzle game that ever existed.
Pretty fun, the ui could use some work though! I found the game fairly intuitive which I think lends to your theme.
I'd suggest just making it so when you click a placed hex it'll remove it, instead of needing to click the removal pattern. And maybe keybinds like 1, 2, 3 that map to the other hex, so I don't have to only use my mouse.
The first suggestion sounds good, it's in the game now.
There already are keybindings for all the hexes. Look for the character next to the hexagons in the top left as it indicates the hex's hotkey.
